Flu Vaccination

An influenza vaccination is particularly recommended for patients with heart, lung or kidney disease, diabetes and residents of nursing and rest homes and for all patients over 65 years and over.

Flu Vaccination Update 2020:

We are in the process of organizing how we deliver flu this season.

This will be done in a phased approach and will be delivered by appointments (for specific groups of patients) and also by holding Flu Open Days.

Letters will be sent out to patients over the next week advising of how to get your flu vaccination.

Our Flu Open Days will be held on the following dates in Dalry Community Centre:

Tuesday, 13th October
Wednesday, 14th October
Thursday, 15th October
Friday, 16th October
Saturday, 17th October (morning only)

Social distancing guidelines will be in place to ensure safety for patients and staff. We ask you to be patient with us on these days and to follow the guidance in your letter as to when to attend for your flu vaccine. Please note you may be required to queue outside regardless of the weather so please dress appropriately. Please note there will be no seating areas on the day – standing only.

Patients who are housebound will receive their flu vaccine via the District Nursing Team.

We will keep you updated via Facebook and the Website. Please do not contact the Surgery regarding your flu vaccination in the meantime.

Thanks for all your support.
